I find comfort in knowing that I’ve only lost those who didn’t deserve to stay.– R.H. SIN
I’ve recently received a book by my friend/model Sue, who I’ve featured on this blog. The book author was someone I’ve never heard of, but she told me it was good, so I took her word for it. Now, I’m not a big fan of poetry or short stories that much. However, after reading this entry book, which is called WHISKEY, WORDS, AND SHOVEL by R.H. SIN. I read it while sort of “working” today, and as I continued to browse through the pages, I just couldn’t get enough of it! Sure, some of the short stories were a little on the nose, which gave me the shakes and not in a good way. However, it was an insightful piece of treatise, which made me feel somethings. That I didn’t want to feel or face, but when those words flowed into my veins. Like a good high that you didn’t want to go away. All you can do is just read it again and feel the same euphoric experience all over again. As it were the first time you pick up the book!
